Saturday we headed to the mountains for the annual BBQ contest in Frisco. Thinking it was going to be a nice, cool mountain weekend we were sadly mistaken as it was 80 degrees, nothing but sunshine and a west facing hotel room with no air conditioner. It was surprisingly HOT! Well luckily the natural AC kicks in once the pesky sun makes its way behind the mountains. Regardless, though, it was a much needed change of pace and some wonderful family time. We will return!
